AMENDMENT & PROCEDURE POLICY

Please take a moment and read the following information before your appointment with us.

Amendment for You the Client:

• I understand this information will be treated confidentially*.
  

• With the exception of indication to harm to self and others - *criminal code of Canada states this must be reported.
  

• I will notify Divine Energy Healing of any allergies, pertinent medical information, including prescription drugs, mental/emotional and/or physical parameters that they should be aware of that may effect the time we spend together and/or the session.
  

• Should I be impaired or intoxicated, Divine Energy Healing reserves the right to decline services.
  

• I understand that this energetic treatment involves light touch and it is my responsibility to indicate to the practitioner my touch preference if I am not comfortable with the hands on treatment.
  

• I acknowledge that this is an energy therapy and not a massage, and that there is no manipulation of the skin.
  

• I acknowledge that any treatments received with Divine Energy Healing are meant as stress reduction, to enhance relaxation and awareness techniques and educate me to possible energetic or emotional blockages that may cause pain or disease and this is not meant to replace any medical treatment I may currently be receiving.
  

• I acknowledge that a person receiving a treatment may begin to detoxify/cleanse/release and that these may bring disconcerting symptoms.
  

• 1. Cleansing Symptoms may include: cold/flu like symptoms, headaches, fatigue, change in your stools, increased urination, nausea or vomiting, body odor, temporary skin rash, excessive perspiration, vivid dreams, and deep emotions. This process are to be supported. Drink plenty of water; eat light, and rest when needed.
  

• 2. Other symptoms may include: additional pain or discomfort or an inability to cope with previous traumas; though it is rare, when this occurs, we recommend an adjunctive therapy to deal directly with the disconcerting symptoms - contact us immediately.
  

• I acknowledge that Divine Energy Healing is not a medical physician and does not practice medicine and I am aware that the practitioner does not diagnose illness or disease nor do they prescribe medications.
  

• I further understand that this treatment is not a substitute for a medical examination, diagnosis or medical treatment and that I should see a qualified medical specialist for any physical or mental aliment that I am aware.
  

• I acknowledge that I should always consult my personal physician before starting any new health program and I will keep my medical physician informed of any and all changes I make in my lifestyle.
  

• I acknowledge and release Divine Energy Healing from any and all liability of the decisions I make.
  

• I understand and accept that all readings are for Entertainment Purposes only.

Procedure for You the Client

• I understand that Divine Energy Healing is a pure energy source and as such it is best for me to remain as clean as possible for the treatment, this means no alcohol or drugs before a session - unless prescribed by your medical practitioner.
  

• I understand that it is recommended that I do not consume alcohol with 24 hour before and after a treatment.
  

• I acknowledge that this is a Home Occupancy Permit based business therefore there is no receptionist or waiting room therefore when I arrive the session will begin - Thus I will not arrive more than 10 minutes early for my scheduled appointment.
  

• I understand that in all treatments with Divine Energy I will remain fully clothed; I will remove glasses, large jewelry, belts, pocket change, shoes, etc. before the session.
  

• I understand that it is recommended that I dress comfortably and in layers as I may experience hot and cold variances during the session.
  

• I acknowledge that I will refrain from the use of any strong scents, perfume or cologne for the session; only pure natural essential oils are accepted.
  

• I acknowledge that for the appointment day, if for any reason I incur a delay I will notify Divine Energy Healing, unless I am driving then it is fine and I will arrive safe and tardy.
  

• I also acknowledge that should I arrive more than 30 minutes late for my appointment I understand that Divine Energy Healing may end the session at the same time it would if I arrived on time and I will be billed the full booking price.
  

• I understand that Cancellations must be made by telephone or email (24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment). 

• I understand that Missed appointments are non-refundable and may be billed 100% of total treatment cost or forgo services in the future. 
  

• I acknowledge that upon reading and agreeing to to the Policy and procedures that I will send an email to cassaundra.paolini@gmail.com c/o Divine Energy Healing confirming that I have read, understood and will comply with the above amendment and procedures.
